Powder Coating

This is a dry finishing process created by an electric charge that causes a dry powder to fuse to the surface of metal. This is then baked in a curing oven to achieve a smooth coating. It is usually used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint and creates a smooth, hard-wearing surface which is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It is strong, abrasion resistant and solid to provide years of anti-corrosion protection for your product.

These finishes should not require any particular on-going upkeep, however we would advise that you simply wipe it over with a clean, lint free, soft cloth from time to time to remove any residual build up of dust or dirt on the product itself.

Galvanised

Galvanisation is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to iron or steel, to prevent rusting. The most common method is hot dip galvanizing, in which steel sections are submerged in a bath of molten zinc.

Again this finish should not require any particular on-going upkeep, however we would advise that you simply wipe it over with a clean, lint free, soft cloth from time to time to remove any residual build up of dust or dirt on the product itself.

No Finish or Corten Steel

Weathering steel, often referred to as Corten steel.

This is a group of steel alloys which were developed to eliminate the need for painting, and form a stable rust like appearance after several years when exposed to weather.

This should not require any particular on-going upkeep, however we would advise that you simply wipe it over with a clean, lint free, soft cloth from time to time to remove any residual build up of dust or dirt on the product itself.
