'Christ Church' Colchester Cross Sculpture
Our most recent sculpture was this 10ft high cross sculpture at a church in Colchester.
We went with Corten for the cross & Stainless Steel for the ribbons, which gives a great contrast of colours. We are super pleased with it.
Aldeburgh Ship
This Ship is an updated version of the Aldeburgh, Suffolk village sign and roundabout sculpture. We tried to keep as close to the original design but we just had to add the usual Suffolk Ironworks flair.
It is now situated outside the front entrance of Aldebugh Library.
Rural Reflections
We were so proud to have been chosen, by public vote to create a sculpture for Cedars Park Housing Estate in Stowmarket in 2022.
The work of art is called 'Rural Reflections'.
The design aims to reflect changes in the area from farmimg to modern construction. The plough, based on saxon farming is seen coming to a stop and digging into the concrete block unable to carry on its work. The birds circling above, as they would over a freshly ploughed field are a nod to the estate road names.
Thank you to the local community, to all who voted, supported and helped us along the way.
It took a long time in the planning but it was well worth the wait!
We were commissioned to make a sculpture to mount a propeller and this is the result!
We are so privileged to be able to make cool, one off pieces like this.
